Horace Davis
Horace Davis (March 16, 1831 – July 12, 1916) was an American businessman who served two terms as a United States representative from California from 1877 to 1881. He later served as president of the University of California from 1887 to 1890.He was the son of Massachusetts Governor John Davis and the younger brother of diplomat John Chandler Bancroft Davis.
