The 2nd edition was edited by F C Spratt, assisted by the author's son, D G B Morison (later Chief Judge of the Maori Land Court). A 3rd edition was prepared by Mr Spratt, assisted by H Taylor. In 1981 Morison became, in its 4th edition, a looseleaf publication.
