| Riassunto: | Tests were done to ascertain the influence of release agents and type of form linings on the subsequent occurrence of efflorescence staining of quality concrete surfaces. Concrete specimens were tested by allowing 1 litre of distilled water to drip slowly onto a surface and the salt concentration of the run-off water and the degree of efflorescence were measured. Tests were done on the side and the top faces of the specimens. The effects of various curing treatments were also noted. |
