Volume 1: California (Bruce Conner, Bruce Nauman, Eleanor Antin, Ed Ruscha, and more); Volume 2: Eastern Europe (including early works of Marina Abramovic and more); Volume 3: New York City (features Claes Oldenberg, Allan Kaprow, Walter de Maria, Daniel Buren, Carl Andre, Sol LeWitt, Hans Haacke, Lawerence Weiner, Robert barry, Chuck Close, Vito Acconci, and more); Volume 4: WORD OF MOUTH, an audio version, in which various artists were invited to a colloquium on Ponape, an island in the Pacific Ocean. Contains a vinyl recording, featuring talks by Laurie Anderson, Chris Burden, Daniel Buren, John Cage, Bryan Hunt, Joan Jonas, Robert Kushner, Brice Marden, Tom Mariono, Pat Steir, Marina Abromovic, and Williant T. Wiley. Included in the set is a pamphlet containing photos of the artists on the island, at work and leisure. All audio is dubbed to CD version; Volume 5: Artists' Photographs, an unbound collection of 8x10 cards, each with one printed photograph taken by an artist.
